What is a CRN?
A Course Reference Number (CRN) designates a particular session for the selected course. CRN is formed by 5 digits.
Connect CRNs to Blackboard:
If you are not registered in the Banner System but wish to use the Blackboard account associated with your CRNs, please notify your department Chair.
How to find your CRNs?
You can find your CRN in your contract, time table, Stu-View or at your department administration office.
Activate your CRN in Blackboard
Fill out the form to notify us that you wish to connect CRNs scheduled in Banner but not appearing in your Blackboard.
Blackboard Course Removeal
Fill out the form to inform us that you will not be using a particular course shell. We will remove your course from the server and archive it.
Please back up your course and save it in a safe place (CD Rom). The extension of the course will be .bak; this course could than be restored by our technical people to Blackboard if it is needed in the future. Alternatively, make a note of the course code and CRN. This information will be required by our technical people to retrieve it form the archive in the future. |
