Cross Listed
Why Crosss Listed:
Cross-listed courses are created for instructors that wish to "merge" two courses inside Blackboard into one course environment. Generally, a cross-listed course is associated with another section/s of the same course and is taught at the same time, by the same instructor, and in the same location. One course is designated the master course, and it contains all course content and user information.
Please note that the cross-listing process resets all recorded student activity. For this reason we recommend that cross-lists be completed before any tracked Blackboard activity or submitted course work is done.
When users access the course, Blackboard will re-direct them to the master course. Here is how a cross listed course will appear in your MyBlackboard:

Request for Cross-listed Blackboard courses:
Fill out the form to inform us of multiple classes (CRNs) that you wish to cross-list as one Blackboard course.
This is a combined effort by LIAD staff and the Registrars office and may take a few days to complete.
Cross Listed Schedule/Dead Line:
We accepts cross-listing request 2 weeks prior to the semester start. |
